She Strolled Past My Emotions

She strolled past my emotions, When I was left with a glimmer, A glimmer of hope and conviction, That I shall stride ways in liberation.

She strolled past my worries, When all I had was agony, I warned myself to keep serene, For plodding are our lives unevenly.

I could feel her fingers slip away, Away from mine, in anguish. And my world succumbs before her When the moment left me vanquished.
